Saluyot (aka Jute) has excellent anti-aging benefits. It’s leaves contain almost all of the nutrients needed by humans. These antioxidants combine with free radicals that cause problems like arthritis, hardening of arteries, heart and kidney ailments. This supergreen is also known as Jew’s mallow or Egyptian spinach.

One serving contains 410 mg of calcium and similarly high amounts of vitamins A, B1, B2 and potassium. Begin harvesting shoots and leaves when plants are young.
