Poly strapping supplies are inexpensive. Expect to pay $30-$50 for 3,000 feet and enough reusable buckles to keep you busy. In time, we would learn […]

Adding Tank Bank Covers

EBG—What we do

Eden Barter Garden (EBG) is a sun-powered, rain-watered, tech-assisted residential project specializing in the sustainable cultivation of highly-nutritious vegetables and fruits—including several Asian exotics.

EBG builds and tests a variety of innovative designs and solutions for converting a typical residential property into a modern farm that provides food, water, power, shelter, security, education, employment, exercise, community, and more in times of uncertainty.

The best solutions come from our many friends. This site is designed to keep our friends informed of the projects, issues, and progress of EBG. Do you have an idea or solution to share? Please let us know!

Turmeric and Curcumin

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

Turmeric Flower

Specializing in the ‘top 10 easy edibles’ that anyone can grow, we also propagate bitter melon, purple sweet potatoes, long beans, eggplant, peppers, Chicago figs, Calamansi, Satsuma, Loquat, Euphorbia milii, Longevity Spinach, Talinum Spinach, yellow cherry tomatoes, garlic chives, strawberries, and more.

Regarding the Current Uncertainty

  • EBG’s infrastructure and preps are providing a remarkable level of stability in this period. Our daily routine remains largely unchanged.
  • It’s never too late to become a prepper. Make a basic plan for 3 days and gather what you need. Then, expand to 7 days. Then, expand your plan (and preps) to 30 days and so on.
  • Prepping is lifestyle insurance—it buys you the time you need to respond to change and it insulates you from unexpected price shocks and shortages.
  • Word to the wise: Long-term ramifications will be unprecedented. For most, life will never be the same again…

EcoFlow PRO 10.2kWh Battery Pack

Testing of the new EcoFLow PRO battery packs is underway. Pros: Cycle life (16 years), wheels and handle, user-friendly! Cons: Price point ($9500), weight.
